Jon Rahm Rodrguez, born November 10, 1994, is a professional golfer from Spain.
He held the World Amateur Golf Ranking number one position for a record 60 weeks before becoming world number one in the Official World Golf Ranking after winning the Memorial Tournament in July 2020.
In June 2021, Rahm became the first Spanish golfer to win the U.S. Open.

Rahm played college golf for the Arizona State Sun Devils at Arizona State University in the United States.

Jon Rahm went professional in 2016 and has since risen to become one of the world’s best players.
He has had success on the PGA Tour as well as the European Tour.
Rahm won two tournaments on the European Tour in his rookie season in 2017, including the prestigious Dubai Duty Free Irish Open, and finished third in the Race to Dubai rankings.
On his first outing at the Master’s Tournament, he tied for 27th place.
Rahm’s PGA Tour success continued in 2018, as he won three tournaments: the CareerBuilder Challenge, the Spanish Open, and the Open de Espaa.
He finished third in the FedEx Cup standings for the year.
Rahm won two more PGA Tour events in 2019, the Zurich Classic of New Orleans (team event) and the Irish Open, which he successfully defended.
He also tied for eighth place in the United States Open.
Rahm won his first PGA Tour triumph in more than a year at the Memorial Tournament in 2020, shooting a final-round 75 to win by three shots.
He also finished tied for 13th at the US Open and tied for 23rd at the Master’s Tournament.
Rahm’s most notable achievement to date occurred in 2021, when he won the U.S. Open, his first major championship triumph.

Rahm married Kelley Cahill, his long-term lover, in 2019.
Cahill is a former collegiate athlete who competed on the women’s golf team at Arizona State University, where she met Rahm.

Rahm is a Basque, which means he is from Spain’s Basque Country, a region with a distinct cultural and linguistic identity.
He is fond of his Basque roots and frequently wears apparel with the Basque flag during games.
