Joan Mir Mayrata, born September 1, 1997, is a Spanish Grand Prix motorcycle racer for the Repsol Honda Team.
He is mainly recognized for his triumph with Suzuki in the 2020 MotoGP World Championship.
He is the fourth Spanish rider to win the premier class title, following Lex Crivillé, Jorge Lorenzo, and Marc Márquez, and the second Mallorcan after Lorenzo.
Mir also won the Moto3 World Championship with Leopard Racing in 2017.

Joan Mir I Fàbregas was born in Palma de Mallorca, Spain, on September 1, 1997, and grew up on the island of Mallorca.
His father, Josep Mir, is a former motorcycle racer, as is his brother, Carlos Mir.
